MARTYN MULHERE ------------ Singer, guitarist, author and composer, he works in several styles, both solo and with different groups. His performances develop various themes: either arrangements of traditional Irish songs or the presentation of his original compositions. The results have found welcome homes in France and other European countries. These compositions have often been performed in collaboration with other major Irish artists: Clannad, Liam O'Flynn, Arty McGlynn, Ronan Browne, Liam Ó 'Maonlai, Fiachna Ó Braonáin, Conor Lovett, Angeline Ball (Commitments), Stockton's Wing, Fluke, Speranza, Jack L., Luka Bloom, Christy Moore etc.

Studying and developing a passion for music at a very young age, Martyn spent six years at the Royal Irish Academy of Music.

Arriving from Ireland twenty years ago, Martyn very quickly forged a place in the heart of the French public, thanks to the delicacy of his instrumental playing and the strength of his voice. They serve pure texts and simple but haunting melodies, in the tradition of Celtic music.

Composition, musical discoveries, performing with others on stage - are the ways that Martyn has chosen to share his sensitivity to the world.
